Differences between Conductive Adhesives and Soldering
1. Process descriptions
The description should show, that because of the different processes,
the resulting issues to show varities as well.
Soldering: The physical melting of an alloy triggered through a heat supply,
wetting of the components and following congealing to a tight alloy structure
among component and carrier.
Conductive Adhesive: A chemical reaction between a polymer matrix and the
ngrained conductive precious metal material which results in a tight,
conductive structure between component and carrier, triggered through
a heat supply.
